Gary Hosea, Commission Dist B Candidate, Walks Mesquite to Las Vegas
GARY HOSEA, CANDIDATE FOR CLARK COUNTY COMMISSION DISTRICT B, to walk Mesquite to North Las Vegas over the weekend of Oct 31 to Nov 2. He is walking to meet with residents of District B and to bring attention to the needs of the residents of the district that HAVE NOT been met by the current District B Commissioner: the abuses people have encountered – poor planning, lack of safety, lack of educational excellence; the ever expanding homeless population – including an estimated 26% homeless Veterans population; and the economic crisis many families are facing now.
Gary Hosea will begin his walk in the City of Mesquite at 7 AM on October 31st, and walk through District B’s communities of Logandale, Moapa, the Sovereign Paiute Nation, Nellis Air Force Base, North Las Vegas and Las Vegas. His walk will end at 7 AM on Sunday November 2nd at Advent United Methodist Church.
“Many residents of District B that I have spoken with do not believe we can afford another term of Tom Collins pandering to special interests,” states Hosea, “When I began my campaign for County Commissioner of District B I announced that I would devote my full-time efforts to the people even though the Commissioner position is considered part time. As a Nation, State, and Community we are in an economic mess. Families are experiencing hardships that one could never have anticipated and prepared for."
“More families in our communities are turning to food banks. I am asking people who support my candidacy to contribute items of non-perishable food to local food banks this weekend, local business owners who support my candidacy to contribute a holiday turkey or holiday ham." Hosea says, "My campaign is about the great people of District B, the people whom I know will help each other through these difficult times. Together we will improve our public safety, schools, and overall quality of life.”
Gary M Hosea invites you to walk and talk with him as he brings attention to District B’s concerns and challenges, and to contribute to our community food banks. For additional information please visit his campaign website: www.gmhosea.com
